From the gates of Club Filipino in Greenhills, Pitang drove out to celebrate not only her birthday but her dream of putting up an altar for Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Gen. Aguinaldo Highway, Tagaytay, the construction of which started in 1995 by parish priest Fr. Roberto San Diego.
With a solo performance, she sang Gaano Kita Kamahal, then did two duets with tenor Jonathan Badon. The event was hosted by Eddie Mercado. Dance numbers highlighted the event which was much more than a party, with national champion Belinda Adora and Bong Marquez, plus Judith and Rainier doing a dance exhibition.

There was an exhibit of the works of Iris Murdoch, allowing guests and Murdoch fans to browse through her writings and experience the genius and purity of her text.
