Religion, dahlings, is never the measure of mans salvation, for it is not good works or doctrines that can save us but only our Lord Jesus Christ. Believing this devoutly, Josefina "Pitang" Lopez-Tiongson celebrated her birthday with a wish which apres years just came true.
From the gates of Club Filipino in Greenhills, Pitang drove out to celebrate not only her birthday but her dream of putting up an altar for Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Gen. Aguinaldo Highway, Tagaytay, the construction of which started in 1995 by parish priest Fr. Roberto San Diego.
With a solo performance, she sang Gaano Kita Kamahal, then did two duets with tenor Jonathan Badon. The event was hosted by Eddie Mercado.
