The leader in mobile technology aims to conquer todays texter generation by starting an innovation revolution, dahlings. Called the Motorevolution, it was presented at an invitational affair at the Mandarin Orientals Captains Bar, which was decked in black and silver.
"Our revolution is a technological innovation in telecommunications that is meant to complement the highly mobile and active lifestyle,"says William Tan, Motorola country manager for both the Philippines and Singapore. The event presented Motorolas newest phones: the hip T190, triband V66 and the ultra-cool swing-blade V70.
Guests from the telecom industry led by dotc consultant Richard Young joined friends like Patricia Arches of McCann, O&Ms Lyda Santiago, Eena Kanapi, Mon Samarista, bmgs Rudy Tee and Narciso Chan, Rose Bacani and Faith Abaño and media folk like The STARs Grace Glory Go and Lucien Dy-Tioco, Grace & Lito Mendoza, Randy Urlanda. Event host John Lapus did a wild take on Game Ka Na Ba? where contestants had to pick the right answers about Motorolas new phones, with the winner taking home a new T190. Lucky, dahlings!
Club Panoly Resorts Inc. (CPRI), dahlings hosted a real cool poolside event at the Waterfront Hotel in Lahug, Cebu, with CPRI pres. and ceo James C.T. Lau jetting in from Singapore, together with cyber-smart Shirley "Sly" Maranga, head of the business development team and her assistant Silgrid Villagomez. A pioneer in marketing the concept of time sharing in the country, Club Panoly has come a long way since it started in 1989, initiating tie-ups with other hotels in the country and Asia to provide clients with a wide range of holiday alternatives.
At this affair, James Lau announced the construction of the new hotel annex, palanggas, as well as CPRIs new sub-business unit, International Vacations Corp. (ivc), envisioned to provide total travel service and seamless vacation planning for clients.
The fabi party drew loads of namedroppables from Cebu society, including Mayor Tommy Osmeña, Vice Mayor Mike Rama, Cong. Raul del Mar, heavyweights from the business sector and perfume set like Hanny Sy, Baby Schaff and Queenie Amman, Tony Quisumbing, Garrison Rouseau, Albert Garbanzos, Gerry San Pablo, Waterfronts Patrick Gregorio, Rina Buenaventura, Maris Araneta, Mila Espina, Honey Loop, Cookie Newman, Deliah Jurado and other mega-personas.
