Tabac, dahlings, exclusive distributor of all Havana cigar brands in the country, organized the much-awaited Havana Cigar Rolling Demonstrations with Señor Jorge Concepcion Luna of the famed Partadas, Hoyo de Monterrey and Punch Cigar Factory in Cuba.
Tabacs Javier San Juan y Galatas, together with publicist Pinky Jacob and account managers Richard Roxas and Angie Simpao, hosted the events to allow clients to see this spectacle, meet the Señor and most of all luxuriate in his freshly rolled Cuban stogies.
Señor Jorge made the rounds of Manilles cigar bars and met cigar enthusiasts like Raffy Rufino, Jovy Cruz, Rommel Papa, Tropical Forests Abe Gopoco, Kim Wong and Nap Taas; John Jimenez of Humidor de Cuba; Ogie Villalon and Bebo Quiros of Kiplings; plus Edwin Bautista, Ricky Arnaldo, Hep Martinez and The Peninsulas Larry Cole and Rudy Oretti.
Apres the Señors brief visit, dahlings, Tabac was invited to the prestigious 3rd Intl Habano Festival in Cuba, which drew global cigar distributors, connoiseurs, international celebrities and media people for cigar dinners, auctions, seminars and factory and plantation tours. Tabacs Javier San Juan and Katrina Panlilio-Craig, who gave birth to a baby boy just last May, got the chance to meet the legendary Fidel Castro during a function at the famous Tropicana Hotel.
The latest "place to be" in bustling Libis is Blue Onion Bar & restaurant at the swanky eastwood City Walk, which opened recently with a hip and happening party hosted by Blue Onion top honchos Chito Angliongto, Edward Co and Wilson Tan. Celebrating as well were Blue Onions "minor partners" Marvin Tan, Alfredo Reyes, Donaldson Jao, Jeffrey Gatdula, Edison Sia, Grech Go, Melvin Gumban, Armand Racho, Emil Theordore Cruz, Brian Tancangco, Eleanor Chan, Herculano Co Jr. and Cristina Tan.
There were beautiful people and power people and party people all around. We look forward to many Jam Nights at Blue Onion as it becomes the next party place to beat. Cheers, cheries!
Remember, palanggas, "The closer you walk with our Lord God, the less room there will be for anything to come between you." Smile. See you.
