It rained hard that night, dahlings, but the people partied harder as Levi’s and Dockers celebrated PANTS or Partners Appreciation Night: The Series at the NBC Tent at The Fort. Levi’s Minette Elicano and Steve Romasanta were on the move, entertaining guests. Dockers’ Bobet Romualdo and Dave Agbulos came in vests and sandos to show off their buffed bods.

Fire-eaters, gymnasts, bands, food. Who needs anything else? Fashion shows for both Levi’s and Dockers were shown, plus the history of Levi’s on the vidi-wall. The ramp sizzled with models Joey Mead, Wilma Doesnt, Eazel Don, Maricris Perez, Michael Sol Cruz and Carl Hancock.

Apres a month-long respite, Limits threw its doors open with a grand launch, hosted by VJ Shannen Torres. Beautiful people swarmed to the main hall, filling it up to the second floor until there wasn’t any place to move. The biggest draw was Limits’ state-of-the-art light, sound and video equipment comparable to any found in clubs in London or New York.

A stand-out at the launch was opening act Circle of Fifths, belting out popular covers with a twist of their own. Infected with the swaying rhythms were Union Bank’s Emmanuel Valdes, IDP’s Betsy Medalla, Maricar Rhodes, Joey Parungao and champion for the disabled Nick Gatmaytan.

The year’s most explosive sports event hit our town at Philips X-rage at Fort Bonifacio, before moving on to Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Thailand and Indonesia. X-rage is a testament to Philips’ commitment to the young market, as mega-GM of Philips Consumer Electronics Tony Lim explained, "We’ve always been proud to be part of the lives of today’s youth."

Some of the world’s best extreme atheletes jetted in for the three-day event, like JD and Joshua Heino, Ty Shields, Matt Lindemuth, Michael Peterson, and our very own Willy Santos. Other BMX enthusiasts, skateboarders and in-line skaters also showed off their skills, and the best of them took home cool Philips products.
