PSA Forum: Philippine squash body to tackle international tilts
MANILA, Philippines – The two international tournaments the Philippine Squash Academy is hosting will be the main point of discussion in the Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum on Tuesday, October 8, at the conference hall of the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.
Squash federation head Robert Bachmann is going to be on hand to talk about the Philippine Satellite and Challenge tournaments the PSA is staging as part of its dry run for the qualifiers to the 2028 LA Olympics.
Coach Wee Wern and players Reymark Begonia and Jemyca Aribado are joining Bachmann in the public sports program presented by San Miguel Corporation, Philippine Sports Commission, Philippine Olympic Committee, Smart/PLDT, MILO and ArenaPlus, the country’s 24-7 sports app.
Two-time Olympian Chito Garma also takes center stage in the session that starts at 10:30 a.m. to talk about his coming participation in the World Seniors Championships in Santo Porto, Portugal this November.
With the veteran chess player is another Philippine representative to the same meet in Efren Bagamasbad.
The Forum is livestreamed via the PSA Facebook pagefb.com/PhilippineSportswritersAssociation and also aired on a delayed basis over Radyo Pilipinas 2 and shared on its official Facebook page Radyo Pilipinas 2 sports.
