The new year and the new decade was off to a great start for well-loved Linda Ley as she celebrated her milestone birthday recently.
The Studio 54-themed disco bash was held at the ballroom of the Manila Marriott Hotel in Pasay City. The venue, styled by Teddy Manuel, was bedecked with glittering disco balls, a massive LED dance floor and glistening cages with dancers.
Guests enjoyed the dinner buffet of salad bar, US prime rib carving station, and other stations serving tempura, pasta, and, of course, lechon. There were free-flowing drinks throughout the party. And served later on that night were wanton noodles, laksa and arroz caldo.
Linda, who was stunning in a red Rajo Laurel gown, welcomed guests who arrived in wigs, bellbottoms and sequined outfits that brought to life the 1970s vibe. The Spirit of ‘67 band and DJ Jon Tupaz brought everyone back to the glory days of the disco era as guests danced the night away until around 3 a.m. It was truly a night to remember!
Happy birthday, Linda!
