After the opening of its flagship Manila restaurant at Bonifacio High Street in Taguig City, Shake Shack recently  opened a second branch at the At SM Megamall’s  Mega Fashion Hall in Mandaluyong City.

Before the grand opening day, the restaurant hosted a “housewarming party” to celebrate the holidays.

The restaurant’s Mega Mangga! features vanilla custard blended with fresh mango and Graham crackers topped with freeze-dried mango. There’s also the Coconut Pie Oh My, which is vanilla custard blended with Wildflour’s coconut pie and toasted coconut. Five percent of sales from this dessert will benefit Children’s Hour, an organization that supports projects on welfare and development for Filipino children in need.

The restaurant also collaborated with local Manila purveyors, producers and artists to produce exclusives for SM Megamall including Kris Abrigo, who reimagined the Ortigas skyline for a mural on the back of the restaurant facing EDSA. His design was also adapted into exclusive merchandise including socks and shirts available at the restaurant.

Shake Shack is a modern-day burger stand known for its all-natural Angus beef burgers and flat-top, all-beef dogs (no added hormones and antibiotics), spun-fresh frozen custard, milk shakes, craft beer and more. Since it opened in 2004 at the Madison Square Park in New York City, the company has expanded to more than 200 locations in 26 US states and more than 70 international locations.

Specialty Food Retailers Inc., a member of the SSI Group, is the exclusive franchise holder of Shake Shack in the Philippines.
