Founded in 1989, Singapore-based World Traveller addresses the growing demand for quality yet affordable travel products. It initially sold men’s travel accessories and document cases, and launched its first luggage collection in 2002. It was later formally acquired from LNY Singapore by Asian retail giant, the Primer Group of Companies.

For its 30th anniversary, World Traveller recently hosted an event at the I’M Hotel in Makati City to reaffirm its commitment to promote smart traveling through its #ForTheSmartTraveller campaign. Introduced at the event was a limited-edition suitcase and a travel accessory inspired by one of the brand’s most iconic pieces dating back to the 1990s.

“The Antelope,” which is part of a collection designed by the brand for its 30th anniversary, was also introduced that night.  The brand’s first-ever aluminum suitcase features top and side handles, an aluminum push button trolley, built-in TSA lock, foot studs, and four double-type wheels.

During the event, an LED installation highlighted iconic luggage pieces that were pivotal in the evolution of the brand. Cabanas were reserved for guests, media representatives and VIPs for the runway show and a video presentation that introduced brand ambassadors chef Francis Tolentino as The Business Traveller, Adela Mae Marshall as The Lifestyle Traveller, Graham Caygill as The Adventure Traveller, and Cat Triviño as The Creative Traveller.

Event emcee Janeena Chan then turned the party over to the DJ for a night of revelry over good food, drinks and music.
