I still remember when Mango first opened in the country in 1999 at Robinsons Place Manila. Now, the Spanish brand recently celebrated its 20th anniversary in the Philippines. Has it really been that long?
In 2012, Mango expanded in the Philippines by introducing the Mango Man line and a year later, the Mango Kids line. Today, it has 35 stores nationwide.
The stores have a new architecture and interior design concept called “The Line,” which embodies a more open and functional space. This concept is based on unifying all the lines in a wider and more dynamic space, significantly improving the customer shopping experience.
To celebrate its 20th year in the Philippines, the brand hosted a cocktail party for VIPs and celebrities at its image store at Shangri-La at the Fort in Taguig City.
Present at the event, emceed by Joey Mead King, were Spanish Consul General Fernando Heredia, Yasmina Paras, Cristina Alonso, and Gorka San Juan of the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain.
Also seen at the event were the brand’s 20th anniversary ambassadors Margo Midwinter, Sam Ajdani, Hideo Muraoka, Ace Yabut and Christian Busby, content creators Christiana Collings-Canlas, Farrah Espina, Pat Sugui and Sophie Ramos.
Happy 20th, Mango! Filipinos look forward to having you in our country longer!
