An evening of love & laughter

It was an evening filled with love, laughter, music and exceptional food when Marissa Fenton, with the support of Becky Garcia, hosted a celebration for her longtime friends Robert Castañeda, Bob Miller, Glecy Mojares, Henri Muzzarelli, Merci Padolina and Agile Zamora.

The celebration, held at Chef Jessie at Rockwell in Makati City, was graced by VIPs from the diplomatic and business communities. A fun-filled, carefree evening was had by all.

Marco Polo Plaza Cebu welcomed the Year of the Earth Pig with its annual Chinese New Year traditions.

Under the leadership of MPPC general manager Brian Connelly, director of sales and marketing Lara Constantino-Scarrow and resident manager Michaela Priesner, the top-notch five-star hotel in the Queen City of the South held well-loved Chinese customs and served a sumptuous array of dishes from the Celestial Empire.

Guests enjoyed a wushu performance and a lion and dragon dance to ward off bad luck and to bring in good fortune. Guests of honor from the Filipino-Chinese community also led the customary yee-sang tossing ceremony.
