The Philippine Cancer Society (PCS) formally introduced this year’s Best Dressed Women of the Philippines (BDWP) during a delightful afternoon tea at Okada Manila.
Welcoming guests during the gathering for a cause were PCS chairman Antonio Ma. J. Guerrero, vice chairman Jose Sandejas and trustee Dr. Kelly Salvador alongside the indefatigable BDWP event chairperson Angola Consul Helen Ong. With them were the members of the selection and organizing committee composed of your columnist as adviser, project head Roselle Rebano and member Mabel Abaño.
Headlining the 2018 Best Dressed Women of the Philippines are Style Icons Yoli Ayson and Darlene Ardeña Go and awardees Joy Jabile-Ejercito, Maru Go, Mandaluyong City Rep. Queenie Gonzales, Malou Tamayo Martinez, jewelry designer Tim Tam Ong, Merci Poblador Padolina, Bettina Nicole Reyes, Malabon City Vice Mayor Jeannie Sandoval, Krisha Almeda-Sia, Mary Carla Christine Reyes-Sia, Jasslyn Tan, Michelle Copok Tan, Dr. Mary Jane “MJ” Torres, new Justice Undersecretary Emmeline Aglipay Villar and Faith Valerinne Tan Wee.
Also present during the afternoon tea were 2018 Ambassadors for Life Carmen Afzelius, Marcott Almeda, Annabel Braganza, Flora and Sheree Chua, Ningning de Ocampo, Dr. Jennie Diaz, Lynette Guzman, Connie Haw, Nina Paula Ng, Baby Tan, Ofelia Wadle and Agile Zamora.
Since its inception in 2004, the country’s longest-running charity fashion show has continued raising funds to help PCS with its programs for the less fortunate Filipinos battling cancer.
Congratulations to the Philippine Cancer Society and the Best Dressed Women of the Philippines for a successful introduction of this year’s awardees!
