My favorite Landers Superstore has done it again and redefined supermarket shopping in the Philippines with the grand launch of its ArcoVia City branch in Pasig City recently. Shoppers enjoyed amazing discounts, buy-one-take-one deals and exclusive membership perks.
The new Landers Superstore in ArcoVia City is the fifth branch to be launched since the superstore first opened its doors to the market two years ago. I am so happy that there is one nearer to me now!
Present during the launch were Southeast Asia Retail Inc. president Gwen Lim, chairman lawyer Lowell Yu, Megaworld Corp. first vice president Kevin Tan and Pasig City OIC and city administrator lawyer Dianeth Valencia.
In celebration of its soft opening, the superstore prepared a 72-feet-long grazing table, the delicious contents of which were sourced from the superstore itself as festivities continued on with a grand five-day super sale.
Members in the eastern part of the metro now have a chance to indulge in American-style food at Landers Central, its very own diner; a wide range of beverages at Doppio, its cozy café; and a selection of pastries in Dough & Co., its bakery. Landers ArcoVia City also has its own gasoline station, Caltex, which offers exclusive discounts to members, and a barbershop called Federal Barbers.
Visit the new Landers Superstore ArcoVia City branch now for a first-class membership grocery shopping experience. Check out other superstores at 1240 EDSA Balintawak, Apolonio Samson, Quezon City; 1890 Paz Guazon St., Paco, Manila (Otis); 23 Minore Park, Cardinal Rosales Ave. cor. Pope John Paul II Ave., Cebu; or Daang Hari Road, Almanza Dos, Las Piñas City (Alabang West). (For more information, visit landers.ph.)

Former Ford Models Inc. CEO and founder of Freedom for All Katie Ford was recently in Manila for “Charity Talk” held at the Manila House Private Member’s Club at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.
Katie and Voice of the Free Foundation director Cecilia Oebanda spoke about protecting young Filipinas from human traffickers.
Companies like the Philippine Airlines, ICTSI and Beauty Scout, private investors and individuals attended the event to support the cause.
After the talks and a slideshow, Katie and Cecilia answered questions regarding the problems of human trafficking, especially in the Philippines.
The event was hosted by Gemith Gemparo, former Ford model and currently an airline pilot based in New York. She’s an advocate of Freedom for All and Voice of the Free (formerly known as Visayan Forum), which both support programs globally in stopping human trafficking.
