30 iconic years of Marie France

THE PEPPER MILL - Pepper Teehankee - The Philippine Star

To celebrate its 30th anniversary, Marie France set a glamorous affair recently at the Nobu Restaurant at the City of Dreams Manila with the theme “Iconic Figure.”

Guests of the enduring and trusted name for slimming and noninvasive weight loss in the country were all welcomed by Marie France president George Siy and his wife Mimi, Jackie Siy-Share, Peter Prestige, Robin Horsman and Angeline Siy-Fiechter.

The night’s hosts, Marie France ambassadors Sam Oh and Issa Litton, proposed sake shots to officially start the party. A string quartet serenaded the guests while the six-course dinner was being served. During dinner, a special video tribute of inspiring slimming journeys of Marie France’s endorsers and clients was shown.

Another highlight of the event was the presentation of ICanServe and Marie France’s joint project, which aims to show support and love for women who are battling breast cancer. The ICanServe awareness video was conceptualized and created by visual storyteller Jason Magbanua, narrated by Dawn Zulueta-Lagdameo, with the timeless voice of Lea Salonga singing Save It All by Marie Hines. Other talents and celebrity endorsers of Marie France and Facial Care Centre also contributed their time to make this project a huge success.

The event concluded with a congratulatory toast to Marie France’s 30 successful years, made possible by the unending support from the people behind the top publications in the country.
