Adding a new milestone to its successful company history is Henann Group of Resorts, which is under the brilliant leadership of chairman Dr. Henry Chusuey, with the recent opening of Henann Resort Alona Beach.
The 6.5-hectare property is Henann Group’s first development outside Boracay and is located at the southeastern side of the pristine Alona Beach in Panglao Island, Bohol.
The resort is said to be the largest in the province with its 400 luxurious rooms, a convention center, a luxury spa, three massive swimming pools and a wide range of dining outlets. The resort also has the longest and widest beachfront along Alona Beach.
Further pursuing its commitment to promote tourism in the country, the Henann Group partnered with AirAsia, the world’s best low-cost airline for seven consecutive years now according to the Skytrax World Airline Awards. As part of the agreement, an AirAsia Airbus A320 has been customized with a vibrant blue airplane wrap with the Henann logo prominently displayed on both sides of the aircraft. Henann Group also inaugurated a three-story, 2,160-sq.-m. convention center situated across the resort that can accommodate up to 1,000 guests.
Noted personalities from the diplomatic, government, business and social circles attended the momentous event including Senate President Franklin Drilon, Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV, Embassy of Venezuela Chargé d’Affaires Yelitza Ventura Polanco, Bohol Representatives Rene Relampagos and Arthur Yap, Iloilo Rep. Arcadio Gorriceta, Iloilo City Rep. An extraordinary gustatory feast
The ever gracious couple, Zambia Consul Luis Ablaza and Guatemala Consul Mellie Ablaza, recently treated several of their close friends from the diplomatic, business and social circles to a gastronomic boodle fight lunch at their palatial home in the family-owned estate Hacienda Amelia in Alfonso, Cavite.
The exclusive gathering was the couple’s way of expressing their gratitude to their many friends who continuously share their time and talent for the couple’s various projects.
Guests were truly delighted with the delicious spread of well-loved Filipino dishes prepared by chef Jessie Sincioco.
Until the next luncheon, Louie and Mellie!
