Travel luxe
For anyone who is in love with travel and has penchant for anything luxurious, traveling with the right luggage and bags is a must.
Italian luxury brand Piquadro recently held the intimate “Piquadro Private Party” to showcase its line of leather business bags and travel accessories. In partnership with Rockwell Land, Piquadro set up the Kirov model unit in an inviting “showroom-style boutique” at Rockwell’s Proscenium Showroom.
The guests were treated to a multi-sensory treat while viewing the brand’s collections. DJ Jess Milner piped her beats through every room of the Kirov model unit, where Piquadro experts were assigned at each room to walk the guests through the display.
On display in both the master bedroom and living room was the trademark line of Piquadro — the Blue Square collection; another room featured the women’s Caterina and Deneb lines; the Twin Room displayed the Signo and Link collections; the dining room showcased the Antonio Marras-Piquadro collaboration; and the office was home to the Coleos and Vibe collections.
Chef Jessie Sincioco’s canapés were a hit as well as the special cocktails concocted by EDSA Beverage (of Curator).
Charge d’Affaires Alfonso Tagliaferri of the Italian Embassy shared some thoughts on the world-renowned Italian reputation and flair for fashion and style. Welcoming guests were Brand Gateway Inc.’s (the exclusive distributor of Piquadro in the Philippines) CEO Gabriele Boschi; Piquadro travel retail and wholesale director for Asia and the Pacific Florence Nguyen; and the brand manager for Piquadro Philippines Jan Andrew Naval.
Three Piquadro bags — the computer messenger from the Signo collection, the women’s computer bag from the Caterina collection and the computer portfolio from the Altair collection — were awarded to those who posted the best picture of their favorite piece on display and posted it with the hashtag #PiquadroPH. The lucky winners were Tessa Alindogan, Maika Cruz and Amador Madamba.
