What do Filipinas find most attractive in men?
Male fragrance brand Axe found out after asking this question to some Filipinas. Their answers helped the brand define two types of men — the sweet “Chocolate Man,†outgoing and laid-back, winning women over with his easy smile and sense of humor; and the sophisticated “Gold Man,†who embodies masculinity, strength and power, has good taste and enjoys finer things in life.
These characteristics were interpreted in Axe’s variants Dark Temptation, which has hints of chocolate; and its latest Gold Temptation, which boasts of subtle hints of high-quality vanilla, gold amber and cedar.
Surprisingly, when asked which type of man they want to be, males online described themselves to be more of a Gold Man rather than a Chocolate Man. This led Axe to recently introduce the Axe Gold Pass, the ultimate ticket to experience living the “Gold Life,†at Republiq in Resorts World Manila.
Having the Axe Gold Pass is like a living a dream with a brand-new 2014 Volkswagen Beetle, an all-expense paid trip to Las Vegas where the winner and two guests will receive VIP treatment at the hottest clubs, and a one-year, rent-free condominium unit at The Fort.

The top 400 men with the most votes immediately qualify for the next round, where they will get trimmed down to the final three.
The three finalists will then compete in the Gold Pass Challenge, where the ultimate winner of the Gold Pass will be determined by the Axe Gold Council made up of Gold Man Luis Manzano, Dark Temptation Man KC Montero, actress Solenn Heussaff and brand ambassadors DJs Slick Rick, Tony Toni and Sam YG. Each Gold Council member will also mentor and groom the finalists to become the ultimate Axe Gold Man.
