‘No Limitations’

MANILA, Philippines - Singer/heartthrob Sam Concepcion is set to take center stage with his concert dubbed No Limitations tomorrow, March 15, 7 p.m. at the Music Museum. The concert, where Skechers is one of the major sponsors, will feature Sam’s evolution as a performer. “No Limitations is based on my third studio album, which was released late last year,” he said. “I’ve grown a lot since my first two albums. This concert shows my evolution as an artist, and will have songs that I’ll perform with my surprise special guests.”

After bagging the Little Big Star title in 2006, Sam’s evolution as an artist has been phenomenal. Now hailed as one of the hottest performers, he has achieved many milestones at his young age. Just a year after his Little Big Star win, Sam’s first solo album was released under Universal Records. Another major milestone was attained when he was chosen by Dreamworks to sing the theme song of the animated movie Kung Fu Panda in 2008, which was included in the Asian soundtrack album of the movie. Sam earned more accolades when he did the opening acts for top international performers Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus during their recent respective concerts in Manila. To date, Sam is busy with his teleserye Mira Bella, which is also topbilled by Julia Barretto and Enrique Gil. He is likewise a VJ for Myx, a mainstay in ASAP, and still finds time for music.
