MANILA, Philippines - Leading LPG solutions company Solane marked another milestone as it inaugurated its first plant in Canlubang, Laguna.
Isla LPG CEO Toshihisa Fuse encouraged the guests to take a tour of the P200 million-property and said, “Through this new plant, Solane hopes to encourage new partnerships, increase commerce in the local community and help fuel the industry growth.â€
For Isla LPG COO Mon del Rosario, the Canlubang plant exemplifies the company’s commitment not only to the LPG industry, but most especially to its customers. Del Rosario said, “With this plant, Solane ensures the continuous supply of safe, sustainable and innovative LPG solutions for our customers in Metro Manila and Southern Tagalog Region.â€
The main highlight of the inauguration was the symbolic sounding of the plant’s main switch, which officially signaled the start of business at the Canlubang plant. Simultaneously, Solane’s newest fleet of delivery trucks were rolled out to show the plant’s innovative delivery system as the main carousel at the cylinder maintenance station started to move Solane cylinders, ready for filling. Solane also presented its state-of-the-art firefighting facility to underscore safety and preparedness in the plant.
Aside from above-industry safety equipment for gas detection, Solane also established two major developments: mechanized cylinder handling system and cylinder maintenance station.
The plant also utilizes an integrated transport system, which is the first of its kind in the country. With all these innovations, customers can look forward to safer and more efficient delivery of Solane products anywhere in the region.
