It was truly a night of glitz and glamour as distinguished individuals from the diplomatic, government, business and society circles gathered at the Gallery of The Peninsula Manila in Makati City for the launch of the coffee table book Faaabvlous IV, the latest masterpiece of international award-winning portrait photographer Rupert Jacinto. Gracing the lovely affair was guest of honor, former president Fidel V. Ramos who also opened the stunning exhibit showcasing the blown-up photos of the personalities included in the book.
A lavish dinner was served at the hotel’s Rigodon Ballroom followed by an auction of the paintings of National Artist Arturo Luz, renowned painter Betsy Westendorp, Duchess of Calabria and Marquesa de Valdeolmos.
Adding to the success of the said occasion was the highly-efficient service of The Peninsula Manila staff led by the charming general manager Sonja Vodusek-Vecchio. The diligent Sonja made sure that everyone had a great time the entire night, even taking time to personally talk and check on the guests.
Proceeds of this event were donated to the Ophthalmological Foundation of the Philippines, the Love-A-Parish Program of Sto. Niño de Paz Chapel and the Yolanda survivors through the Advertising Foundation of the Philippines’ Kayanihan Project.
Congratulations to Rupert for the success of this fabulous affair!
