The new Belo ‘baby’

An exclusive luncheon was organized by the country’s premier  dermatology and cosmetic surgery center Belo Medical Group to formally introduce its newest endorser, actor Tom Rodriguez. The intimate affair was led by the beauty center’s  founder and medical director Dr. Vicki Belo.

The event was held at Dr. Belo’s opulent home in Makati City. Guests were warmly welcomed by Belo Medical Group top honchos including managing director Cristalle Belo Henares and assistant medical director Dr. Philip Buñag. They were also treated to a mouthwatering array of dishes.

Tom perfectly embodies the type of men who go to Belo — confident, secure and knowing exactly what they want. During the program, the handsome and articulate actor talked about the wide range of Belo procedures that he personally uses including SkinMaster, Acupuncture Rejuvenation Therapy, Jet Peel, Sculptor Plus and Belo Fat Freeze. When asked what advice he can give to men who have hesitations of going to beauty clinics, the newest Belo “baby” said, “Taking good care of yourself is an important part of being a man. It doesn’t make you any less tough.” The intimate gathering became more exciting when the multi-talented endorser serenaded a few of the lovely lady guests and gave them each a beautiful long-stemmed red rose. Capping off the afternoon’s activities was a raffle with prizes consisting of three paintings made by Tom himself.

The joint birthday celebration of three close-knit friends doubled as a spectacular party for charity as the kind-hearted celebrators Mayenne Carmona, Rupert Jacinto and Hera Geriene requested donations for their favorite charities.

Guests, clad in their Disco Fever outfits, trooped to the Top of the Citi Restaurant in Makati City where a buffet dinner awaited them. Many of the guests enjoyed the free-flowing wines as they danced and partied all throughout the night.
