Women nowadays have the tendency to neglect their own health because they lead busier careers and personal lives. They experience fatigue, paleness and lack of focus or concentration due to iron deficiency.
To address today’s women’s concern, Sangobion Organic Iron held a luncheon at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel to increase awareness about iron deficiency.
Hosted by Amanda Griffin-Jacob, the event was a fun new way to learn more about the importance of women’s health. UST OB-GYN Department chairman Dr. Corazon Zaida Gamilla shared her expertise on women’s health. She said that as a woman ages, she also faces greater demands. In order to cope, she needs to pay attention to her health. Iron-rich food such as red meat, egg yolks, legumes and green leafy vegetables should be made a regular part of one’s diet. But more than that, an iron supplement is also necessary to maintain good health.
