‘Fore the missions’

MANILA, Philippines - The Assumption Alumnae Association will hold the One Assumption Annual Golf Cup 2013 at the Sta. Elena Golf Club in Sta. Rosa Laguna on Monday, Sept. 2.

The cup, dubbed “Fore the missions,”   aims to raise funds to provide the school children of Xavier de Kibangay High School  in Lantapan, Bukidnon the fullness of a good education and the basic necessities. The school, founded in 1995 for the Talaandig tribe of Bukidnon, and located in Kibangay, a hilly barrio in Lantapan, has no water system. Students are required to bring a gallon of water every day.

Supreme hole sponsors are Carrier Air Conditioner, Hamilo Coast and Metro Pacific. Hole-in-one sponsors are Callaway, Lacson & Lacson and Autohub. Hole sponsors are Diamond Motors Autogroup, SM Supermalls, Smart Communications, Shakey’s, PETNET, John Clements Consultants Inc., Toyota Balintawak, Pancake House, Living Springs Communities, True Value, Suriya Spa, Araneta Foundation, Pizza Hut, Dairy Queen, Azuthai, TriDharma Trading, Koppicino, Energen, Mega Fiber, Wendy’s, Pioneer Insurance, BDO, OshKosh B’Gosh, Yabu, RFM Corp., Gardenia, Sentry Safe, Tango Boutique, Puto Ube, Suchero, Fila, Miladay Jewels, Belo, Selecta Ice Cream and Trader Joe’s.
