Grey Goose on the greens

THE PEPPER MILL - Pepper Teehankee - The Philippine Star

Golf enthusiasts trooped to the greens of Alabang Country Club for the fifth Grey Goose Invitational. This year’s golf tournament was comprised of 30 teams.

â€œGrey Goose is one of the top luxury icons in the world, and proactively connects and engages with consumers who love life, lead in life and who seek the best; and our participating golfers here in Manila epitomize just that,” said Sanjit Randhawa, Grey Goose country manager for the Philippines and Indonesia.

Bacardi-Martini brands commercial manager Bobby Campos added, “The brand’s image fires up the competitive spirit for the sport. The tournament was truly momentous with 30 teams participating and we look forward to an even more exciting one next year.”

Team L1, with members Bones Floro, Thirdy Escaño, Michael Kho and Heinz Gobing, was named this year’s champion team. Top placers were Overall Low Gross champion Raymund Sangil, Class A, B and C respective champions Thirdy Escaño, Jere Fregil and Calvin Li and Ladies champion Finina Gorres.

The fun and excitement continued with the awarding and 19th Hole celebration hosted by Carla Dunareanu at the Jaguar/Land Rover showroom. The showroom was transformed into a Grey Goose lounge where guests were treated to a buffet spread and served with flowing signature cocktails that included the Back Nine and the Grey 19th Hole.

(Event partners were Thai Airways, Jaguar/Land Rover, Raffles & Fairmont Hotels Makati, Club Car, U-Boat, Super Sunglasses, The Suriya Spa, Tumi and Braun Shavers.)
