A first in Bohol

Setting the bar higher in the local hospitality industry is Bohol’s premier five-star hotel, The Bellevue Resort, as it recently launched its newest, top-of-the-line facility, The Bellevue Pavilion.

This fully air-conditioned tent is the first of its kind in the province — it is equipped with the latest sound system and has its own stage and dining area. It is the perfect venue for private get-togethers, company events or even religious affairs.

Gracing this significant event were noted personalities from the diplomatic, government, business and media circles, who were welcomed by the Bellevue Hotels and Resorts (BH&R) team headed by its chairman Johnny Chan, managing director Patrick Chan, marketing and communications corporate director Ryan Chan and deputy general manager Dustin Chan.

Making the night more wonderful was the delectable dinner and delicious desserts prepared by the resort’s seasoned chefs.

Besides the tent launch, everyone also witnessed the opening of the Amenity Building that houses Marea, the resort’s signature seafood restaurant, and the Azurea Spa, a wellness center.

A fitting ending for the day’s festivities was a grand fireworks display at the hotel’s expansive beachfront that left everyone in amazement.

Bringing in the sun

Soaking up the sun, lounging on a crocheted hammock, feasting on the delectable bounties of the sea, swimming in the warm waters of a lagoon and seeing the welcoming smiles of a hospitable resort staff — these images are what a perfect tropical vacation can be while in the Philippines, particularly Cebu. The same tropical scenes were brought to Russia by Plantation Bay Resort and Spa during the Moscow International Travel Trade this year. 

Representing the Mactan island-based resort was its general manager Efren Belarmino, who was ably assisted by front office manager Carms Ylanan and sales account executive Geli Reyes.

A food trip to Red Lantern

Minerva Tanseco is always on the lookout for Manila’s newest and best offerings for her set of friends to check out. Recently,  she led “Everybody’s group” to Solaire Resort and Casino at  Entertainment City in Parañaque City. 

Minerva and company sampled the heavenly dimsum creations at the spanking new and plush Red Lantern, one of Solaire’s four signature restaurants, for their monthly lunch sortie.
