To many, the season of sun means endless beach parties.

To celebrate summer, Watsons launched a party at the SM Mall of Asia Atrium. What better way for Watsons to do it than having exciting games and special promos at the booths of participating brands like Nivea Sun, Ocean Potion, Vaseline, Ultra Skin MD, Neutrogena, Belo Sun, Beach Hut, Kojie San and Coppertone. The summer event was also done with the participation of Uniqlo, Sanuk, Creamsilk and Shroff Travel.

Hosts Megan Young and Gino dela Peña facilitated Twitter promos giving out free trips and summer gift packs from Watsons and the Department of Tourism. Summer essentials like sun blocks, umbrellas and beach mats were given away to prepare sun-worshippers for their upcoming trips and activities. A fashion show was also staged to showcase the SM Ladies Fashion’s latest collection.

Daniel Matsunaga, Bryan Termulo and Isabella Gonzalez serenaded the crowd. Cristalle Belo Henares and Dr. Vicki Belo gave a short lecture on proper sun protection.

The first Watsons stores in the Philippines opened at The Podium and SM Megamall in 2002. Since then, 315 more stores have opened in more than 50 cities in the country, selling a complete range of personal care, cosmetics, skin care, fragrances, beauty accessories and more.
