Starting the year with a bang!

THE PEPPER MILL - Pepper Teehankee - The Philippine Star

The hottest night spots in the city were the venues of almost non-stop partying on the last day of 2012. It was indeed a busy night with me traveling from one party to another. I got a number of invitations but I only made it to four parties and I ended partying at 5 a.m.!

At the Palladium, party people gathered in the club to witness the countdown to 2013. It was truly a night of merriment as 20-year-old DJane Liz Candy from Paris played the decks of Palladium.

The club was intensified with her electro house beats that kept the party crowd alive until the early hours of the morning. DJane Liz’s fresh music and energetic dance moves sparked the energy of the entire club.

At the party, champagne was passed around and people toasted to a new year. The Masquerade-themed party proved to be the perfect start for 2013.

A beautiful start for 2013

Guests obviously had a great time at The Peninsula Manila’s Pink Diamond New Year’s Eve Ball. They raved about how beautiful The Lobby looked that night.

Marilyn Monroe was the inspiration for the year’s final send-off party, which saw The Lobby gaily decked with pink balloons, mirrored tables, crystals and Marilyn masks. Lobby attendants wore pink gowns and tiaras while guests feasted on a delicious menu washed down with pink champagne that flowed the whole night through.

The Peninsula Manila’s Pink Diamond New Year’s Eve Ball truly was the rainbow at the end of a wonderful 2012!
