A paradise opens in Panglao

There are now more reasons to go to Panglao, Bohol for a rejuvenating vacation as The Bellevue Resort, the newest five-star venture from The Bellevue Hotels and Resorts (BH&R), had its grand opening recently. The celebration was led by visionary BH&R chairman Johnny Chan, managing director Patrick Chan, corporate director for marketing and communications Ryan Chan and deputy general manager in-charge of The Bellevue Resort Dustin Chan.

Several personalities graced the monumental occasion. Guests experienced the signature Bellevue treatment where they were treated to the best dining, accommodation and exceptional pampering services from its highly efficient team. The esteemed VIPs were gathered in the lush garden of the resort for a vibrant program that included acrobatic acts, stilt walkers, song numbers from the Loboc Children’s Choir and live performances from The Bloomfields. The BH&R team and the local government officials of the province led by Bohol Gov. Edgardo Chatto and Panglao Mayor Benedicto Alcala joined the ceremonial toast for the success of The Bellevue Resort in the coming years.

It was definitely a warm welcome for The Bellevue Resort with the officials showing their support during the inauguration of this piece of heaven in Panglao, which will also serve as a springboard to further improve the tourism sector of the province.

Christmas at Plantation Bay

Always on the lookout for happenings to surprise its steady stream of satisfied clients, Plantation Bay Resort and Spa, led by general manager Efren Belarmino and PR associate Hannah Patalinjug, recently hosted a Christmas tree-lighting ceremony for its guests. 

What started as a merienda of delectable native cakes and refreshing home-grown drinks at the lobby turned into a merry parade around the resort with guests carrying lighted parols and Christmas carols by a drum and bugle corps.  Much later, Santa Claus made a grand entrance at the Peninsula Beach onboard a banca to join in the festivities. 

Heavy cocktails were then served as guests danced during the Filipino fiesta cultural show. Holidays are joyful, indeed!
