MANILA, Philippines - The Phantom of the Opera ends its Manila run on Oct. 14.
Presented in Manila by Smart Infinity and Citibank, in cooperation with the Philippine Airlines as the official carrier, The Phantom of the Opera is the longest-running Broadway show in history as of September 2012.
Since 1986, the musical has been going strong, reaching 10,000 performances at the Majestic Theater in New York in February 2012.
The Manila performance features 130 international cast and orchestra members of the touring production together with Filipino tenor, Dondi Ong. I have seen it twice and I urge those who have not seen it to catch it before Oct. 14.
