An evening with the boy bands

There was boy band mania at the SM Mall of Asia Arena when New Kids on the Block (NKOTB) and the Backstreet Boys performed for their adoring fans in a one-night concert. The evening was certainly an occasion for fans to feel intensely fresh, and ensuring it was Doublemint Sugarfree Mints.

Before the concert started, free mints were generously distributed to VIP guests so they could all enjoy powerful fresh breath while singing and dancing to the popular hits of the boy bands. Everyone enjoyed the long-lasting freshness of spearmint, peppermint, winterfrost, lemon ice, orange mint and intense mint variants.

Concert-goers, including Wrigley associates Randy Resuello, Patrick de Jesus, Son Sunga, Leila Clamucha, Amor Dineros and Titus Dacanay, had a field day singing I’ll Be Loving You Forever and Quit Playing Games with My Heart as two of the music industry’s most successful boy bands sang their hits.

It was a Sunday of music and fun courtesy of NKOTB, Backstreet Boys and Doublemint Sugarfree Mints.

Frenzy at sea

When the Dragon Boat Festival 2012 was held in Boracay, hordes of people flocked to the popular island. Twenty-six teams from Australia, Canada, Holland, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, the US and the Philippines competed.

Fila dominated the scene, sponsoring dragon boat teams like Boracay Bumshells and Boracay Guardians. The all-men team of Boracay Guardians won first runner-up while Boracay Bumshells finished with pride as over-all champion in the women category.

At sunset, the festivities commenced, highlighted by the opening of a boutique called the Fila Beach House. Fila’s Cris Albert welcomed guests to enjoy a chill vibe while watching the famous Boracay sunset. Ten sexiest men and women were chosen that night in honor of the brand’s newest footwear craze, the Fila Skeletoes.

Rachel Lobangco did a fire dance exhibition and the party lasted, as expected, all the way to the morning.

Fun and feminine

With its bright collection of fun and feminine apparel and accessories, Ever New Melbourne recently lit up Bonifacio High Street Central’s East Superblock in Taguig City.

Ever New (Forever New) is a fashion clothing and accessories brand that started in Melbourne, Australia. It was founded in late 2006 as a start-up retailer and now trades over 120 stores across seven countries.

Over 400 guests attended the event. Young girls flocked around the store, swarming over racks of Ever New Melbourne’s dresses, tops, shoes, necklaces and bracelets.

Personally assisted by brand ambassadors from the exclusive Ever New Fashion Clique, guests received style advice and gift certificates.

Guests were also treated to strawberry and blueberry-banana smoothies from Jamba Juice and were given Ever New shopping bags filled with goodies.
