The epitome of luxurious indulgence

THE PEPPER MILL - Pepper Teehankee -

The night was replete with opulence when Sofitel Philippine Plaza launched Manila’s prestigious collection of suites  the 6,200-sq.-ft. Imperial Residence, designed by Design Studio of Japan. Comprised of five distinct suites, the Imperial Suite boasts of elegant living spaces, state-of-the-art comforts and stunning views of Manila Bay.

At the lunch, visitors enjoyed the Imperial Suite kitchen that featured chefs preparing pastries. Guests flocked to the blocks of chocolate, a most decadent praline spread, and plump and juicy strawberries that they dipped into melted dark chocolate. Moët & Chandon flowed throughout the evening and guests sampled the cocktail of the night called Chanel No. 5, created by guest mixologist Timothy Barnes. Harpist and singer Noelle Cassandra set the mood with classic tunes.

Sofitel Philippine Plaza GM Goran Aleks said, “We are very proud to introduce the Imperial Residence to the market. It is the epitome of luxurious indulgence and fine living, and there is simply nothing like it. In the past, these spaces have served as home to some of the world’s most illustrious personalities and we continue to provide the very best products and services for our most discerning guests.”
