Discovering an extraordinary art space

Studio 10.10, a unique creative space in Makati City, is transforming ordinary furniture into ingenious art pieces greatly inspired by the awareness of the human form and anatomy. The art studio specializes in customized furniture, interior designs and accent art. Recently, remarkable Filipino artist, sculptor and furniture designer Niccolo Jose, together with dynamic brother and manager Abel Jose, formally opened Studio 10.10. The brilliant duo marked their foray into the art world with a new collection of large-scale furniture pieces and impressive pieces of sculpture. The artworks were all individually handcrafted out of decades-old to centuries-old wood, which were carefully selected from all over the Philippines.

Loving parents Jojo and Geng Jose, together with lovely sister Kat, who came all the way from New York, lent support to the milestone affair. Notable personalities who attended the event included Dr. Elenita Binay, Kit Zobel, Vicky Zubiri and LRI building owner Tony Lo. Guests were treated to great food, enthralling music by acclaimed violinist John Lesaca and an exclusive viewing of the studio where they marveled at the showcase of chairs, benches, sinewy lamps and other functional pieces that truly pay homage to the rich Filipino history and craftsmanship.
