Time to travel
In recognition of the brand’s Swiss roots, Victorinox Travel Gear had its own celebration of Swiss National Day at Florabel Co’s Florabel restaurant. Editors and writers from local broadsheets and magazines joined Swiss Ambassador Ivo Sieber to a private lunch by the Primer Group of Companies. General manager Darwin Banez and brand associate Stephanie Elumba personally welcomed the guests.
Stephanie gave a brief introduction of Victorinox as a brand that boasts of not just having the best army knife and quality timepieces but also luggage. Werks Traveler 4.0 is the newest collection of luggage and travel gear that will surely provide ease and convenience. The patented monopole handle system allows handle rotation to relieve arm and wrist stress.
Guests were also directed to the Victorinox store at The Podium to view the complete product offerings.
(Victorinox Travel Gear is available at The Podium, The Travel Club, Rustan’s, SM Department Store, The Landmark and Duty Free Philippines.)
A triple birthday bash for charity
Rupert Jacinto, Manny Lopez and Mayenne Carmona celebrated their recent birthdays with a fund-raising party at Sofitel’s Fever Lounge. To keep with the lounge’s black and red color scheme, the celebrators chose Moulin Rouge as their motif and asked their guests to come in black and red.
It was a high energy party and Fever’s ‘80s music had guests excitedly moving to the dance floor. Manny O’s wines and bubbly kept everyone happy all night long. Prizes were given to the early birds and to those who came in best costumes. Even generous donors were given prizes, too. Michiko Graf of Nu Skin, cosmetic dentist Cecile Infantado, Mario Katigbak of Hermes, Suzette Ayson of JMA Jewelry, Marriott’s Cru Steak House and Khristine Gabriel of Ever Bilena donated the evening’s prizes.
The donations gathered that night went to the Air France/KLM Village of Gawad Kalinga.
Happy birthday to Rupert, Manny and Mayenne!
