Lucky nine!

Nine years and counting. That’s the luck Nuvo in Greenbelt 2 has been enjoying. After nine years in the business, the restaurant cum bar has maintained its popularity as it still gets packed for dinners. And, take note, its after-dinner crowd is still around after all these years. 

The resto-bar started with just two floors, the second floor is called the Mezzanine. It has also extended to an al fresco area. Nuvo is still a favorite venue for events and a great place to lounge about after dinner. It is particularly packed on “Envied Saturdays,” the once-a-month birthday celebrations held there. This is one place I feel so comfortable to go to even if I’m alone because I know I will bump into someone there.

As expected, the ninth anniversary was packed with many guests who enjoyed passed-around bar chow and free flowing drinks courtesy of Premiere Wines and Spirits, Ralph’s Wines, Future Trade and Flyasia.

Louie Ysmael, Nuvo’s main man, kept the guests entertained the whole night as he made sure all guests had a drink in their hand.

Next year will be a milestone for the resto-bar as it will mark its first decade. We all look forward to more parties and dinners in Nuvo, everyone’s home away from home!
