The return of the blue lens

There’s no stopping fashion from being hip and trendy. Take for example the iconic blue lens that made a comeback when Police Eyewear unveiled its new eyewear at the Fort’s hot spot club Seventh High. Rich Herrera hosted the event.

This classic reflective eye lens is definitely synonymous with distinct stylishness. Not limited to the blue lens, Police has been favored for its hip and trendy design. Over the decades, celebrities like director Quentin Tarantino, footballer David Beckham, R&B star Neyo and even U2’s Bono have used this pair of Italian-made face framers that just add that right amount of flair.

To celebrate this fashion arrival, Police hosted a month-long series of events at Seventh High that culminated with a grand party where guests joined in with visitors from Police Eyewear International. During the all-blue festivity, “The Best in Blue” and “Be Younique” awards were given out to two guests who won their very own pair of Police Eyewear.

Clearing the way

These promises – no dandruff, no dryness of scalp and less hair fall – are enough to assure one that bad-hair days are a thing of the past.

These are the promises of Clear Paris Institute when it launched its newly reformulated shampoo for men and women. Clear for women contains 10 vitamins and mineral nutrients called Nutrium 10 that nourishes the scalp three layers deep for Total 3: no dandruff, no dryness and less hair fall. The formulation for men has the revolutionary Pro Nutrium 10, which is a powerful complex of 10 vitamins and mineral nutrients that are formulated specifically for the male scalp. New Clear with Pro Nutrium 10 contains two powerful anti-dandruff actives: Zinc Pyrithione and Climbazole to effectively and quickly combat dandruff problems.

Clear brand ambassadors Bea Alonzo and Piolo Pascual.

Brand manager for Clear Kellda Centeno says, “New Clear also has more nourishing ingredients, giving smoother hair and provides two times superior protection against dandruff and hair fall due to breakage versus the leading anti-dandruff shampoo brand.”

The launch, held at Midas Hotel on Roxas Boulevard and hosted by Borgy Manotoc and Bianca Valerio, also presented its brand ambassadors Piolo Pascual and Bea Alonzo.

Bea says, “In my line of work, my hair goes through so much styling. To make sure that my hair is healthy, I make sure to take care of my scalp.”

Piolo adds, “Nice looking hair is nothing if you have flakes all over your shoulders and shirt. It’s important that you have no dandruff, no itch, and less hair fall.”

Guests feasted on a customized spread of delectable “black-themed” treats such as turnips with ginger-miso sauce, scrambled eggs in its shell with caviar, mushrooms filled with black mountain rice, black risi pasta with seafood, USDA roast beef with au jus, blackberry mousse in dark chocolate cups and dark chocolate coated senorita banana.

Try the new Clear shampoo now. I have tried it and so far, no dandruff!
