Manila, Philippines - Society Lounge, or S-Lounge as others prefer to call it, turned one year old. Its first anniversary was celebrated with three days of partying. (I wonder what it will be like on its 10th anniversary a whole month of celebration perhaps?
The first day of the celebration was held on a Thursday where in VIPs were presented with cocktails and free-flowing champagne provided by Piper Heidsieck. Awards and special gifts were given to the outstanding personalities who have been supportive of S-Lounge since day one. Some of these exceptional people included Vicki Belo, Becky Garcia and Cory Quirino. The people behind Society Lounge even gave away an Ivan Acuña painting to a lucky patron.
Friday gave everyone an excuse to put on their dancing shoes as Boyet Sison rocked the dance floor with his ‘80s and ‘90s music sets. Following suit was Karl Ty who gave guests a taste of his sexy house music. Guests were treated to a never-ending supply of Grey Goose vodka and Piper Heidsieck champagne.
Saturday wrapped up the three-day festivity with the Saturday Sound Project bringing in the music of DJs Wency Lagumbay, JC Sandejas, Marie Garcia and Jerome Cura. Johnnie Walker Black Label made the night extra memorable.
(Wait till next year’s second anniversary bash! Society.Lounge.French.Fashion.Food is located at the G/F Atrium Bldg., Makati Ave. cor. Paseo de Roxas, Makati City.)
