Manage your wealth well

THE PEPPER MILL - Pepper Teehankee -

As part of its thrust to strengthen its presence in Southern Philippines, Citi Philippines inaugurated a Citigold center at Citibank Savings Davao branch. The launch of this award-winning wealth management banking service in Davao was graced by the bank’s top executives led by country head Sanjiv Vohra, Citibank Savings president Tonet Itchon and Citigold wealth management director Judith Go. Leading the ribbon-cutting was Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.

Vohra said, “We are committed to reach out to more clients nationwide and with the opening of Citigold in Davao, we are delighted that our clients here can now experience our brand of wealth management.”

The introduction of Citigold to Citibank Savings’ clients started last year in the Ermita branch and has since then opened to other Citibank Savings branches across Metro Manila with the aim to bring the service closer to more clients. Davaoeños can now enjoy privileged banking and a more personalized approach to wealth building through its Wealth Management Team.

The launch of Citigold at the Citibank Savings branch in Davao also strengthens the presence of Citi in the Mindanao region. Itchon added, “Citibank Savings is one of Citi’s biggest and most successful investments in the Philippines. By introducing Citigold to clients in Davao, we’re responding to the growing needs of our clients and reaching out to more customers across the country.”

A dragon dance was held to usher luck and prosperity for the bank’s clients and invite growth and success for Citigold’s new endeavor in Mindanao.

Schwarzkopf recently unveiled its Essential Looks Spring/Summer 2011 collection that featured local Schwarzkopf ambassadors Nikki Bacay of Nikki Bacay Salon and R2 Tolentino of Huelgas Hairdressing. In celebration of this milestone, five of the top stylists in the country presented the distinctive styles of each of the five decades starting from the ‘60s. The swinging ‘60s style was modeled by Loralee Baron-Soong who wore a classic flip styled by Tinette Puyat. The retro ‘70s look was worn by Sara Azimi who was styled by Vicky Sumbillo of South Salon. The ‘80s glam was epitomized by Tracy Abad who sported a faux mohawk styled by Ino Amoyo of David’s Salon.
