Congratulations and best wishes to a long, happy life for the lovely pair Dennis Demiar and Gerone Olorocisimo who were recently united in matrimony at the San Sebastian Church in Manila. Gerone, daughter of Tomas and Hannah Olorocisimo, was radiantly stunning in her silky wedding gown designed by couturier-model Jan Garcia. Dennis, the son of Prudy and Carmen Demiar, was dashing in a suit designed by Bergamo’s Mel Meer. The occasion turned out beautifully with event stylist Pido, wedding and reception director Raymond Villanueva, and entourage designer and makeup artist Tony Guy who all lent their expertise to make sure everything was perfect. We all beamed with happiness as we witnessed this romantic and memorable wedding celebration.

A fun and inspiring Friday

It was an afternoon of great food, lively dancing and warm camaraderie as the affable Inner Wheel Club of Manila (IWCM) director Minerva Tanseco and the energetic members of the Friday Group led by jovial Rose Lazaro recently gathered for a memorable luncheon with the honorable ladies of the diplomatic corps. The occasion also turned into a heartwarming despedida for the popular and down-to-earth European Union’s Bridgette Macdonald who is sadly bidding goodbye. The affair became more interesting when Minerva, without the restrictions of protocol, requested her good friend and mentor, former Philippine first lady and Rep. Imelda Marcos, to sit with them and share her fascinating life experiences and insights on how a Filipina lady should carry herself beside her VIP husband. What a memorable day indeed!
