A toast to Gina

The popular Pangasinan Rep. Gina de Venecia recently welcomed another year in her blessed life with a series of celebrations together with her family, friends and colleagues. First was an intimate luncheon at the plush Golden Bay Seafood Restaurant in Pasay City with the members of the Association of Lady Legislators (ALL), which is led by the celebrator. The next festivity was held at the posh Sampaguita Pictures Compound in Valencia, Quezon City, hosted by Manay Ichu Maceda who mounted a spectacular production as a tribute to her beloved sister. The shindig was well-attended by well-wishers who ushered in a new year for Gina de Venecia with much love and admiration for her excellent efforts as a legislator, philanthropist, friend, mother and wife to former House Speaker Joe de Venecia.

A delightful dinner

Any dinner turns into a luxurious experience especially with world-renowned wines from one of the important wineries in Rioja Spain, Bodegas Ramon Bilbao. Luckily, the brilliant Edna Diaz of BestWorld Beverage Brands, Inc. (BBB), in partnership with Bodegas Ramon Bilbao area manager for Asia Maxime Rullier, who flew in from Spain, gathered a group of wine enthusiasts for a luscious dinner at the Wine Museum. Guests thoroughly enjoyed the flowing Crianza, Reserva, Gran Reserva, Viña Turzaballa Gran Reserva, Mirto and Blanca Fermentado paired with a buffet of Spanish delicacies. It was also the perfect moment to introduce the new Cava wines from Pere Ventura, which gathered praises from wine aficionados.

One amazing Boracay birthday

The fun-loving Sonny Tanchanco, well-known philanthropist and dance aficionado, was recently feted with an amazing birthday bash by his loving children Jonina, Brian and JP. Held at the Pearl of the Pacific resort in Boracay, the party had family and guests enjoying a sumptuous dinner by the beach and spectacular performances by the fire dancers and drummers of the Panay Mardi Gras Group.
