Generous hostess and jovial lady Gilda Salonga recently celebrated her birthday with a coterie of her closest friends in her chic and well-appointed home in San Juan. The party was carefully planned by loving husband Ronnie, who meticulously contacted excellent florists and three different chefs to prepare a feast for Gilda’s family and friends. It was an occasion to exchange the latest news regarding the recent holiday season, development in the fields of politics and business and of course, the latest in fashion, handbags and cosmetics. Way to go Gilda! Live healthy and enjoy many more birthdays!

A spectacular New Year in paradise

The breathtaking paradise of Boracay provided the perfect backdrop as Boracay Regency Beach Resort and Convention Center, the first triple-A rated resort in the white strip, recently ushered in 2011 with a spectacular New Year’s Eve Party. It was one festive gathering for the guests by the beach as the resort treated them to an amazing New Year countdown celebration replete with a bountiful feast, a captivating fire dancing performance and a show-stopping fireworks display. What’s more, everyone was able to thoroughly enjoy their vacation as the professionally-trained group of security personnel at the Caticlan Airport are always alert and ready to ensure that the island is safe and peaceful. Congratulations to dynamic chairman Henry Chusuey and the Caticlan Airport Security for making sure vacationers truly had a fantastic time in Boracay!

Congratulations to the visionary president and CEO, Ambassador Alfredo Yao of Zest Air, Asia’s most refreshing Airline, who recently led the blessing ceremony of its two newly-delivered Airbus 320s. Zest Air now offers a better and much more convenient service to its passengers as it increases its domestic frequencies to various top destinations such as Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Bacolod, and currently negotiates to add more routes to its international destinations such as Incheon and Pusan, South Korea from Kalibo and Cebu.
