Recently, I was delighted to witness adorable youngsters Sofia Ravanza, Jappy Mercado, Ken Shibata, Jack Parker, Sophia Harris, Bianca Ora and Kira Ellis getting into the Christmas spirit as they modeled the latest holiday collections of C-Kids and Oshkosh B’Gosh, Cinderella’s premium house brands for kids. Needless to say that the parents who were present during the pictorial were all beaming with pride as they watched their children — the future Claudia Schiffers, Gisele Bundchens or Heidi Klums? C-Kid’s vibrant and light, easy separates and Oshkosh B’Gosh’s stylish ensembles are sure to be a hit at any party. Trendy accessories like cool caps and other items are available to complete their ultimate holiday look.

Great finds at the Venture 7 Bazaar

Shopaholics are in for an early Christmas shopping treat with the upcoming opening of the Venture 7 Bazaar on Dec. 5 at the Grand Ballroom of the Hotel InterContinental Manila. This much awaited bazaar, which will have a variety of merchandise and great finds, is the brain child of Venture 7 ladies (from left) Fanny Blanco, Linda Villadelgado, Lita Gelano, Monaco Consul General Fortune Ledesma, Pilie Barrenechea and Celine Bautista.

A grand fashion celebration

Acclaimed fashion designer Rhett Eala recently celebrated his 20th year in the industry with a much-anticipated and highly-lauded fashion show at Whitespace, Makati City. Dubbed Rhett Eala Celebrating 20 Years, the captivating event was presented by top local retail brand Collezione-C2 and Jewelmer. Highlighting the evening was the grand anniversary fashion show masterfully directed by Robby Carmona and Jackie Aquino. The show featured the vibrant Holiday 2010 Collection of Collezione-C2 and Rhett’s stunning new couture creations, accentuated with exquisite jewelry pieces from Jewelmer and shoes from Stella Luna. Gracing the affair were President Benigno Aquino III, Makati Mayor Junjun Binay and French Consul Bruno Magnenat.

A new breed of leaders

To signify the rebirth and renewed dynamism of the Inner Wheel Club of Manila (IWCM), a new set of leaders was inducted in a ceremony led by IWCM president Monaco Consul General Fortune Ledesma. Held at the Shangri-La Makati, the affair had the affable Minerva Tanseco as host to welcome the newly elected officers of the club. Congratulations! May you continue to cultivate the IWCM legacy in the country!
