It was the start of another exciting chapter in their lives as the debonair Kester Haw was recently united in matrimony with his lovely sweetheart Cherie Sing at the Santuario de San Antonio in Makati. Cherie, daughter of Chester and Helen Sing, was radiantly stunning in her beautiful Rajo Laurel wedding gown as she walked down the aisle where her groom Kester, son of George and Connie Haw, awaited her. The smiling guests, close family and friends, happily witnessed the couple’s solemn exchange of wedding vows. A lavish and elegant reception conceptualized by event stylist Robert Blancaflor immediately followed at the Makati Shangri-La. It was indeed a joyful occasion as everyone was treated to a delectable feast complemented by an abundance of smooth, sparkling wines and a slice of the captivating wedding cake designed by Penk Ching. The evening became even more romantic as guests were serenaded with the romantic tunes of Da Capo Band and by special guest performers — bossa nova queen Sitti, multi-talented singer-actress Karylle and Aria Clemente.

Inner Wheel of Quezon City turns gold
The Inner Wheel Club of Quezon City (IWCQC), the service club of the Ladies of Quezon City, celebrates its golden anniversary today with a dinner dance party at the Manila Polo Club. To be led by the organizing committee president Tita Alagar, event chairman Beng Angeles and Nonie Basilio for protocol, the event will be marked by IWCQC’s collaboration with Gawad Kalinga (GK) with the establishment of the GK-IWCQC Golden Jubilee Village.
