A Kitty party for Stefani

Perhaps every little girl’s dream is to have a fun party every year for her birthday. Stefani, daughter of the gorgeous Philippine Cancer Society Best Dressed awardee for 2010 Salome Uy, recently celebrated her sixth birthday with a Hello Kitty-themed party at the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club. Guests enjoyed the celebration with the fun games and surprises plus a feast prepared by chef Stevie Villacin.

Back-to-school kiddie fun

There’s nothing predictable when you’re watching children posing in front of the camera. Recently, I witnessed how adorable models Bianca Ora, Melody Abastillas, Rashana Coleman, Basti Juan, Joseph Basseg and Rafael Villa dressed up for Oshkosh B’Gosh’s Back-to-School photo shoot. It was truly fun watching the kids act like grown-ups, trying out exciting outfits from the new collection including cool tees, rugged shorts, denim pants and skirts, fun-loving leggings and vibrant dresses perfectly matched with colorful backpacks, multi-hued socks as well as sporty and black shoes. What a refreshingly youthful day indeed!

The stellar lady is back!

An intimate bienvenida was hosted by the gracious Nene Leonor in honor of the charming and well-loved Edna Lhuillier, wife of the former Philippine Ambassador to Italy Phillippe Lhuillier, at The Last Chukker in the Manila Polo Club.  It was an afternoon of renewal of friendships and happy memories by the close friends of Edna.

The voice of an angel

Known as a singer, songwriter and one of the few harpists in Asia, Noelle Cassandra recently launched her self-titled album to a huge audience at SM Megamall. Featuring her original song Amazing and renditions of Runaway by the Corrs, Defying Gravity from the musical Wicked, Come Back to Me by David Cook and Big Girls Don’t Cry by Fergie, the audience was mesmerized by her angelic voice and witty spiels during the launch.
