Teens at the camp

THE PEPPER MILL - Pepper Teehankee -

Teen celebs Nicole Uysieuseng, Ian Batherson and a host of other young talents from hit teen TV shows Gimik, Starstruck, Pinoy Big Brother and Pinoy Fear Factor took part in the first ever Camp Nivea, a three-day event that gave campers a chance to immerse themselves in exciting activities like fashion, photography, modeling and music. With the theme Battle of the Sexes, the boys and girls were determined to outdo one another through games! The event served as the official launch of Nivea’s first range of products designed specifically for today’s teenagers, the Nivea Teen range.

Held at Peninsula de Punta Fuego in Batangas, the camp featured Robby Carmona, Sassa Jimenez, Niccolo Cosme and DJs Mars Miranda and Mike Cons as Camp counselors, who shared valuable tips on modeling, fashion, photography and music mixing. Reema Chanco and DJ Tony Toni hosted the activities.

The first night had a bonfire party, where campers prepared traditional camp food like roasted marshmallows and hotdogs by the beach. For the final night of Camp Nivea, the campers had the Gossip Girl vibe, which was the chosen theme for the prom night. The evening’s highlight was the Camp Honors, a series of special awards bestowed on dedicated campers at Camp Nivea. A private concert headlined by Calla Lily followed. Fred Payawan and Geann Abranan were crowned Teen Stars of the Night while Franco Daza and Janeena Chan were chosen as Couple of the Night. Individual awards were also presented to campers who excelled in the games, with Jommy Teotico and Beauty Gonzales emerging as the top male and female scorers.

During the three-day camp, teens also got the chance to experience the benefits of the new Nivea Sun Invisible Protection Spray, which offers 100 percent transparent, non-greasy and immediate sun protection that will help users achieve 100 percent attractive skin. The teen campers were confident during the beach games, knowing that their skin is fully protected and moisturized under the intense heat of the sun.

Camp Nivea surely gave the campers a head start in feeling good and having fun at the same time! Thinline turns three
