A green and futuristic way to light up

THE PEPPER MILL - Pepper Teehankee -

Electrical and energy products provider Akari recently unveiled its latest lineup of environment-friendly innovations for 2010.

Launched before select members of the media, Akari presented The Future in LED, which featured LED-based lighting products, to promote cost-saving measures on electricity.

Christopher Tiu, CEO of Carlson Corp., the makers of Akari, says, “Being an industry pioneer, Akari takes the lead in bringing energy-saving products to contribute in helping save the environment. We want to aggressively promote switching to these energy-efficient lighting products not only to push companies, organizations and the public to conserve energy, but also help them save on electrical costs.”

Akari’s new LED products and outdoor lighting solutions use light emitting diodes as source of light, which produce more strongly colored light while using less energy. Also unveiled were new rechargeable batteries that offer high performance in energy production while promoting cost-savings and environment-friendly features.

Guests got to experience the power and cost-efficiency of Akari’s new products as each of them went home with a gift bag that included rechargeable batteries, travel adaptor, USB port, and the latest LED rechargeable lantern.
