Bacardi’s Rajiv Ghumman hosted a very exclusive dinner at the Suite (formerly Cuisine) Bar at the Fort to introduce the Rum’s newest variant, Bacardi Apple.
A feast was prepared by chef Fernando Aracama as guests began sipping on their favorite Bacardi Apple cocktails. Many preferred the new drink on the rocks, as it truly is a deliciously tangy mix of Fuji, Golden Delicious and Granny Smith apples that deliver a crisp and fresh Bacardi flavor... I liked it as a mojito or with tonic!
After dinner, guests went on to the party downstairs as Bacardi Apple was introduced to the Happy Mondays crowd at Suite. Each guest was also given a sleek clear bottle of Bacardi Apple to take home.
Rajiv says, “We are very excited to bring this delicious new Bacardi’s variant to the market, here in the Philippines and judging from the reactions here tonight, it’s going to be another successful product for our portfolio.”
Bacardi Apple is now available in Manila. Have it as an apple mojito or have it with your favorite mixer!
New Year’s Eve at Establishment
The crowd became bigger and bigger as midnight approached. The posh Establishment had mostly expats enjoying a special New Year’s Eve menu prepared by chef Godfrey Laforteza. Manila’s party people trickled in slowly before the New Year to participate in the festivities.
There were fireworks outside the venue at The Fort but the fun was the countdown inside where guest had their horns and confetti fell as people ushered in the New Year! Champagne and wine overflowed as proprietor Anton San Diego led the countdown.
It was truly a sight to see, something simple and fun and definitely not over the top. I had a great time there and will probably see the next New Year in the same venue!
