Living well!

The evening’s festivities were all about celebrating a healthier lifestyle with the launch of LivingWell, the Philippines’ first and only complete wellness rewards program. Held at the Rockwell Tent, it was a toast to keeping the spirit of health and wellness.

LivingWell is also the first of its kind to venture into the wellness category for health buffs and people who just want to be healthy and need a change. It is the only wellness program, participated in by 140 of the top companies in the Philippines. The program offers a comprehensive wellness package solution, broken down into five categories, in the form of over 200 gift vouchers that are valued at more than P250,000 but costs less than one percent of that.

The event had cocktails and dinner by Le Souffle. Guests were able to visit the stalls set up by LivingWell’s numerous partner establishments. Through these stalls, they were given a tour of its five categories — Tranquility, Strength and Harmony, Enrichment, Beauty and Nourishment.

These establishments included Beverly Hills 6750, Belo Medical Center, Bliss Yoga, The Spa, Gold’s Gym, Fitness First, Healthy Options, John Robert Powers International, Red Mango, California Pizza Kitchen, Le Soufflé and Oliver’s Super Sandwiches.

Hosting the evening were Cory Quirino and VJ Eri Neeman. As the official endorser of the program and a pioneer in the wellness revolution in the Philippines, Cory addressed the eager crowd by calling the night as the first step to a whole new lifestyle. The night gave way to several song and dance numbers by some of LivingWell’s 140 partner schools. Participants also did belly dancing and pole dancing performances and a karate demonstration.

Special guests who couldn’t make it to the launch were able to impart a few words via a live video feed. Chef Gene Gonzales promoted his restaurant Cafe Ysabel and his cooking school. Vicki Belo talked about her active involvement in the growing wellness trend. Monsour del Rosario talked about being physically fit through martial arts while Fitness First’s Mark Ellis explained the benefits of regular trips to the gym and feeling good about life.

Crooner Christian Bautista belted out a few Christmas songs. Prizes and gift certificates were raffled off throughout the night.
