A party was held at the A. Venue Hall in Makati to introduce Russian Standard vodka. “The launch party opened the doors to a new market for super premium vodka,” said Joey Mendoza, president and GM of Beam Global Philippines, local distributor of Russian Standard in the country. The vodka brand’s export director Mykola Kuzemko flew in for the party.
Marketing manager of Beam Global Art Hyndman also said, “The Philippines is a highly strategic market for Russian Standard Vodka.”
The venue that evening was constructed to look like a life-size palace complete with blocks of ice with bottles of Russian Standard embedded in the ice. Guests partied at the cocktail area to enjoy the brand till late evening.
Demand for high quality premium vodka is expected to increase in the Philippines and the partnership with Beam Global Philippines will deliver success in the local market. The brand is a global leader in authentic Russian premium vodka. In Russia, it dominates the premium segment with a 60-percent market share and sales of over 1.9 million cases in 2007 and more than 50 export markets across Europe, the US and Asia.
Filipinos can enjoy this premium vodka with the rest of the world, and its arrival in the Philippines is a great example of the country’s progress in bringing premium quality consumer goods to international markets.
Another ‘Manuel’ takes over Pascuallab
After 20 years of being at the helm of Pascual Laboratories as president and CEO, Manuel “Manny” Salazar is passing on the torch to his successor Manuel “Manolo” Escueta.
“It’s a good sign,” says Pascuallab chairman Abe Pascual, son of founders Isosceles and Leonora Pascual. To satisfy his curiosity, Abe Pascual googled the name “Manuel” and delightfully discovered that it means “God is with us.”
It is no surprise that the outgoing and incoming Manuels both share the company’s vision of upholding Christian values in the workforce and in the conduct of the company’s business.
Friends, family and business partners in the medical, trade and banking community attended the intimately-fashioned gathering organized by third generation Mia Pascual-Cenzon. The affair was held at the new hot spot at the Fort — The Establishment.
