Samsung Mobile, the leading brand known for its continuous innovation in mobile phones, has unveiled one of the most stylish mobile phones in town, the Samsung Ultra Touch S8300.
It was at the Embassy SuperClub where Samsung laid its scene for the launch event of this ultra stylish phone, dubbed as “Bright Nights.” The venue had neon laser lights flickering, LED screens displaying the eye-catching Samsung Ultra Touch S8300, and the lighted stage and platform caught everyone’s attention. A spectacular light show and choreographed dance by the Unschooled opened the event as models paraded the latest club wear of Joey Samson with the featured phone model in their hands.
Host Bianca Gonzales then entered the stage and introduced the editors of the top three fashion magazines: Pauline Juan of Preview, Carla Sibal of Mega and Katrina Holigores of Metro, who each announced their Style Icon nominees. These Style Icons represent the Samsung Ultra Touch S8300 as they embody the fusion of style and substance. They will grace the cover of the magazines’ April issue. Preview announced Star columnist and restaurateur Cecile Zamora-Van Straten, TV host Daphne Oseña-Paez and businesswoman Ingrid Chua-Go. Mega revealed cager Chris Tiu, real-estate maven Divine Lee and fashion photographer Paolo Pineda as its Style Icons while Metro honored retail princess Suyen Lim and actors Sam Milby and Anne Curtis. A toast to summer
Summer was kicked into high gear with Penshoppe’s “Toast to Summer” party at People’s Palace in Greenbelt 3. People mostly came in blue, the color of the night as Cacay Moras welcomed guests to offer them a wonderful array of cocktails and canapes concocted by Kerwin Go. People’s Palace’s signature prawn spring rolls with sweet chili sauce, chicken satay with cucumber relish, and sweet potato and chicken curry puff, were served before the strawberry-lychee and lemongrass-ginger ice cream. Refreshing cocktails called Ping Pong, Long White Cloud, Bling Bling Martini, Red Lotus and Long White Cloud, which consisted of lemongrass, elderflower cordial, lychee and Absolut Citron were enjoyed by all.
A fashion show featured Penshoppe’s Summer 2009 Collection. Donning the new collection were the new faces of Penshoppe: Bea Soriano, JC Tiuseco, Matteo Gudicelli, Melissa Ricks, Solenn Heuseff and Victor Basa.
