An intimate wedding ceremony united sweethearts Jose Garrido and Charissa Grace Litton recently at the revered St.Therese of the Child Jesus church in Pasay. Proud parents of the groom, Jose “Joe” and Lilia Garrido, as well as the bride’s parents, Alexander and Theresa Grace Litton, beamed as the lovely couple finally made their most sacred union. A unique reception was held at the plush Le Pavillion of the Metropolitan Park where the beautiful couple warmly welcomed guests to a vibrant celebration of their love. The heavenly stars shone their brightest in the galaxy of marital bliss as the princess and her knight entertained their loved ones with an extraordinary Star Wars-inspired number together with the 501st Legion of Storm Troopers of The Philippine Outpost.

Fashionable in Pink

Dramatizing the essential turns in the lifetime of a woman, internationally-known Swiss-born jeweler and goldsmith Hans Brumann and Paris City-bred and Cambodian fashion designer Romyda Keth recently showcased their breathtaking creations through a spectacular fashion show called Pink. The show took on the glowing shades of all-pink colors of gemstones amidst an elegant black fabric creating a dramatic vision. These powerful fashion names were joined by Bonia, the latest brand of well-crafted women’s bags. Celebrating the ageless beauty of a woman, Brumann’s designs created a contemporary look for the Filipina today while Keth highlighted on the sensual side of a woman with his curve-fitting pieces which perfectly made use of smooth fabrics and bold colors. Truly a splendid affair to remember, the two magnificent designers wowed the elite crowd with their mesmerizing spectacle of fashion masterpiece.

Looking radiantly beautiful and very glamorous despite her tender age, the lovely Alessandra Adina, the 15-year-old unica hija of elegant socialite and jeweler Lili Adina of Lili Jewellery, was recently crowned Muse of Club Bulakeño during its fabulous 20th Anniversary at Hotel Sofitel Philippine Plaza. The stunning lady was escorted by dapper Kit Lagman and crowned by generous godparents Sen. Manny Villar and Rep. Cynthia Villar.

Journey up north

Just recently, Minerva Tanseco, along with a few other friends and acquaintances, went on a pilgrimage to the shrine of Our Lady of Manaoag in Pangasinan. After having viewed the miraculous image of the virgin and praying for their loved ones and special petitions, the group then made their way up to Baguio where they enjoyed a little shopping at the Good Shepherd Convent.

Challenging creative minds

Recognizing the unsurpassed talent of Filipinos for designing, Wilcon Builders’ Depot, in partnership with the Philippine Institute of Interior Designers (PIID), launches its second Interior Design Contest where participants are challenged to unleash their creativity using Wilcon products in their design. Application forms are available in all Wilcon supply stores.

One joyful reunion

Wonderful surprises and a joyful reunion of close friends and loved ones took place as the very gracious Belen Arambulo-Lizaso (right) and her dapper husband TV and movie director Nick (left) played host to a warm welcome gathering for their beloved daughter Jacqueline who was recently in the country for a two-week vacation from New York.
